We had a wonderful day Saturday! Lauren was so excited and it was so special to see her Dad be so proud to baptize her. We were happy to have Nana and Papa come from Texas and also my brother Stephen and his wife and kids too. Thanks for all helping to make the day a memorable one. She got new scriptures and a special book from Nana. Papa patiently helped her learn how to care for her scriptures and spent time explaining the index tabs and how to use them. It was so fun to see her pure joy at being able to read them for herself and what a sweet moment for a parent to behold! Here is our cute nephew and cousin Rafe. I'm sad I didn't get a picture of the other kids and their family:(Ashton Family

How exciting for Lauren and your family. I wish we could have been there!
Pretty new colors, too.
thats awesome! the only thing that could have made this post cooler (and some of your other ones, for that matter) would be if all of the pictures could be enlarged. i would really like to download a few pictures that are on your blog, but they cant all be seen in a larger size than whats immediately visable in the blog post.
Very cool! Too bad we couldn't combine Lauren and Jonathan. That would have been fun.
Nice pics in the front yard!
Lindz, are you large and in charge already?
What an event...your firstborn baptized! I'm so glad the day went well for her!
PS: I love that you are having a little girl! Hey Camron will have his own buddy time with Dad...and not have to share with another boy...there are definite things to celebrate.
PPS Tell Daron thanks for his expertise and we'll await the bill!
Lauren looked so cute sitting up in the front on Sunday. Towards the end of Sacrament meeting, you could see her little eyes getting heavier and heavier- she was ready for a nap! Wonderful pictures of such a handsome family, too!
